The basic objectives of the Society are to support, promote, Encourage and strengthening overall healthy growth and sustainable development of Rëra community as a whole.
To established, set up, conduct, provide, assist, promote maintain financially or otherwise educational institutions.
To promote, protect, preserve, propagate and publish rich and unique literary, sociocultural and socio-economic heritage collection & documentation and practices of Rëra Community including folk songs, dances, rituals, folklore’s, and other similar compositions.
To undertakes study, research and such other activities relating to Rëra Community or furtherance of growth, development and progress of Rëra to encourage and promote social harmony, unity and integrity and peaceful co-existence within and with other Communities.
To take up such other pre-emptive and preventive measures and steps relating to any traditional and social Practice or rituals that have become socially irrelevant, obsolete, that may be detrimental to the existence of healthy, peaceful and pious Society and its socio-economic and socio-cultural growth and development. To launch self-help programmes for improving the social and economic standards and create a sense of self- reliance of the poor.
To work for the development and social status of women and children.
To attempt total human development and social change in the area of operations through the formation of local level organization.
To provide relief of poverty and distress caused by the elements of nature or otherwise and provide financial and other assistance in connection therewith.
To create awareness on various social moral and economic issues affecting the people and to direct this awareness to developing and innovative means of generating resources financial, material and professional and channelize these resources through, people and appropriate projects in the field
